New video showing homemade cooking to be displayed on the website!

Cafe Vanilla is switching to a new menu and there will be lots of good varieties of tasty salads. Additionally, there is a new video presentation featuring how to make homemade and delicious pies in the kitchen. We are taking the video and photographing the entire project. The result is displayed on the web site in early February.

With a QR code we usher guests into the kitchen, figuratively speaking. With a QR code app on their phones, guests can read a code which features a short video in which we present the home cooking or baking activities in the kitchen.

QR codes have been successfully used in Japan for decades without catching the rest of the world's interest. Today, the QR code is on a roll and its usage in the US and Europe is sharply increasing as more and more smart phone users embrace the QR code reader.

The most common way of using it is for communication with consumers, but you’re only limited by your own imagination. QR codes serve as a link between printed and digital media. It’s therefore particularly useful in printed ads and commercials, because it leads the potential customer to the company website or to an e-commerce site where the product can be paid for using the code.

Akzo Nobel e-learning goes live!

Finally it’s time to launch the new e-learning platform for Akzo Nobel Functional Chemicals. Akzo can now increase the availability of HSE issues and with this e-learning, customers worldwide will, around the clock, always have access to the correct knowledge regarding how to handle ethyleneamines. 

Furthermore, Akzo can monitor how well each student / user has managed the training. Data is collected separately for individuals and teams, and becomes valuable documentation which can be used to demonstrate how to follow up on the Product Stewardship work.. 

The program is available in English, Japanese and Chinese. The Chinese version is distributed and used only in China and operated on a Chinese server.

Certified instructor of Nordic Walking!

The e-learning project, "Everyone can practice with poles!", inspires people to learn more about the use of Nordic walking poles for exercise, the right technique, and  how to choose the right poles. The project also shares knowledge on how the right equipment can help facilitate Nordic walking exercise.

The interactive e-learning gives you further information on how you can schedule your workout as an exerciser, REHAB, high performer and child / youth. You also get suggestions on how you can use you poles in aerobics.

The program thus offers everyone an opportunity to carry out a structured proficiency test which can be strengthened by a certificate / diploma upon completion of theoretical training in how to exercise with Nordic walking! We are now launching Apply Emtunga’s HSE e-learning platform!

Today we launch Emtunga’s new e-learning platform. Here, suppliers can create their own accounts so that their employees can carry out basic training on the (HSE) safety regulations in the workplace.

Additionally, Emtunga monitors how well each student and subcontractor has managed the training.

Data is collected on both individuals as well as teams and it becomes valuable documentation which can be used to demonstrate to customers how they can follow up on HSE work.

Apply Emtunga have chosen our e-learning concept for their HSE information.

Apply Emtunga is a leading supplier of living quarters for the offshore industry. We have cooperated with Emtunga since the early 90's. In 2007, we produced a video program showing how to work safely on Emtunga workplaces - that software will now be distributed in a new way.

The demand for Emtunga to be a safe workplace is increasing and they have now chosen to educate all staff working on Emtunga’s sites through our e-learning platform. This means they can systematically check that all staff members have made use of the HSE training, whether it be their own staff or the staff of a subcontractor.

Delivery will take place in autumn 2014.

Akzo Nobel invests in e-learning for the handling of ethyleneamines.

Akzo Nobel has chosen our e-learning platform to reach out with information on how to handle ethyleneamines safely. Already in 2006, we produced an interactive CD-ROM for Akzo Nobel Functional Chemicals. The training had to do with raising awareness of how important it is that clients handle the products properly. 

This interactive HSE training was distributed as part of a ”Safety Kit" with personal safety equipment. The response from customers  ​​was very positive.

The demands on suppliers in the chemical industry are constantly increasing when it comes to issues concerning the environment, health and safety. Akzo therefore wants to increase the availability of these issues and with an e-learning platform, customers around the world will always get the right knowledge on how to handle ethyleneamines, 24/7.

The program will be launched in the autumn, and language versions are available in English, Japanese and Chinese.

E-learning with behavioral learning!

We are now launching our interactive e-learning platform where you can get theoretical training in how to handle your hook loader or skip loader. The program is entirely based on short video clips and you get a general insight into the various functions, safe practices, overturning moment, lifting moment , operation, maintenance and care. The quality-assured e-learning is educational and easy and does not demand any prior knowledge on how to handle a hook loader or skip loader.

The program is also designed to prevent accidents and reduce expensive operating and maintenance costs due to improper handling. The training is behavior based and video sequences have been put together with different animations which show you how to properly operate the vehicles.

E-learning with behavior based learning is something that our customers appreciate and enables supervisors to get a good overview of how well a student has completed the course. With stats like how long students take to complete the course or what type of questions they missed, you get a useful tool you can use to validate and assure the quality of their education. TAWI gets a custom mobile website with video!

Now it’s possible for visitors to the TAWI website to choose between a desktop version and a smart phone adapted site. The smartphone page is approved by Google. With one simple click, the visitor can choose the type of lifting device they want to know more about and then a video clipappears with more information. This will also be introduced on other TAWI websites around the world.

The Swedish documentary film, "Having a good quality of life with bipolar disorder", is based on stories from participants in the film with different bipolar disorders. Now AstraZeneca wants the film to reach an international audience with English subtitles. Read more about the film (only in Swedish).

Interactive DVD and CD-ROM in a stylish package!

Ahead of the big subcontractor fair at Elmia in November, we’re going to produce a good-looking DVD / CD-ROM package of Modellteknik's video presentation. We also managed to include a small 6-page leaflet, all in the same package.

Updates and additional languages for the HSE presentation for Apply Emtunga!

In spring 2007, we produced a video on how to work safely at Emtunga workplaces. This video will now be revised. Besides the Swedish, English and Polish versions there will also be a Hungarian version. The work will be finished in the spring.

Application of lubrication and corrosion protection fluids

For Spraying Systems, we will produce a product presentation  and a commercial in 60 seconds that describes how a lubrication system works for the application of lubricant.  AutoJet® is a highly successful system for the application of lubrication and corrosion protection fluids.

Apart from the lubrication of coils, blanks, pipe sections, stamping or forming tools, lubrication oil or a corrosion protection fluid can also be applied to wires or bars/rods.

The new video project is based on previously recorded material, including customer interviews. The project will be completed during the summer.

The premiere of ”Havinga good quality of life with bipolar disorder”

Today is the premiere of the Swedish documentary film, "Having a good quality of life with bipolar disorder". It’ss a documentary that shows it’s possible for people suffering from bipolar disorder to feel good and improve their quality of life, despite their constant emotional roller-coasters.
The illness is common, but a lot of people are not diagnosed or are diagnosed later in life, after many years of suffering for the person in question, as well as for his or her families and friends. There is a great need to disseminate adequate information about bipolar disorder, in healthcare but also in society. There is help available.

The documentary, “Having a good quality of life with bipolar disorder”, is based on stories from participants in the film with different bipolar disorders. Common to them all is that it took a long time before they received the right diagnosis and treatment for the illness, despite contact with doctors and psychologists.

Isabelle is a youth who used to suffer from severe depression and attempted suicide, but she finally got the right diagnosis and prescriptions and ultimately recovered.

Andreas spent many years in therapy, but never got the right diagnosis. He tried various different antidepressants but his condition only worsened. After 20 years and several hypomanic episodes and severe depressions, he finally got the right diagnosis and mood stabilizing medication.

Lena works as a district medical officer and has been healthy since 2003. Lena struggled for many years with her illness and received improper treatment. She was involuntarily admitted to hospital several times and those experiences scarred her for life.

Raffaella is a researcher and switches quickly between bipolar states. Raffaella wants to be up front about her illness and thereby create understanding and defuse stigma. She has a crisis plan for how those around her should act when she gets a relapse.

One of the leading specialists on bipolar disorder in Sweden, Dr Lars Häggström, helps to explain the causes of the illness and what you can do to stay healthy and have a good quality of life even if you suffer from bipolar disorder.

The program is 25 minutes long.

Already in 2007, we were offered the opportunity to produce a company presentation using video, and based on the same concept we will now create a new website for them. The goal is for Modellteknik to be the most visible site on Google, and for them to have important keywords associated with the company's competencies.

The video will also be on the website. The project will be published before the holiday season.

We have been assigned to speak about bipolar disorder!

Living with a mental illness doesn’t just affect yourself but also your relatives and close friends. Even society has is unsure how to relate to mental illnesses. In the spring, we presented an idea to AstraZeneca on how to increase awareness of bipolar disorder, and now we have been assigned to produce a documentary.

The program is called "Having a good quality of life with bipolar disorder" and it’s a documentary that shows it’s possible for people suffering from bipolar disorder to feel good and increase their quality of life, despite the fact that bipolar disorder involves having to deal with a constant emotional roller-coaster.

Release date is expected in the spring of 2011.
